Sketching Rebellion

Conformity is survival. Creativity is death. Seventeen-year-old Breel Sorep is about to break every rule. In the walled city of Lexum, personal choice is forbidden, and defiance is punished by public execution. Breel, a secret artist, risks everything to create forbidden drawings—a quiet act of rebellion against a brutal dictatorship that demands total obedience. When Breel uncovers a hidden resistance connected to her missing uncle, she faces a deadly choice: remain silent under the regime’s constant surveillance, or risk everything to fight for a world where creativity and freedom exist. In this thrilling YA dystopian novel filled with survival, resistance, and forbidden creativity, Breel must decide if freedom is worth dying for—and if her voice can make a difference in a society determined to silence her. 2022 Killer Nashville Claymore Award finalist (Juvenile/YA).
