Mystery

Morgan Delaney is an Irish writer of dark and fantastic fiction. Like the great Irish writers, Morgan prefers to live abroad. “The place is shaped like a teddy bear, but they called it the Celtic Tiger . You don’t really know where you are,“ he explains. He has lived in Ireland, Germany, Australia, Kazakhstan and Georgia, and worked, among other things, as a building engineer, until one day, while he was writing a particularly outrageous cost estimate, the wind changed. And he has been stuck like that—writing lies—ever since. His favourite film is Terry Gilliam’s Brazil.

The Forgotten Creatures

An abandoned church, rains of fish, and Signs from God. To save the town, they’ll need to stop the Second Coming. In eccentric Hawkinge-By-Hythe, the supernatural is perfectly normal. When fish rain from the sky, it just means free dinner. Only professional sceptics, the Alumière sisters—witches, according to the locals—worry there’s worse to come... After a message from God, Reverend Gresstart enlists the righteous Mrs Pengle to spread the word. But she wants revenge more than she wants to get to heaven. As the weather worsens, literally raining cats and dogs, the Alumières race to dig up the truth—even if no one wants them to. With the townsfolk rioting over what the Lord wants, the Alumières have their hands full. And that’s without the mystery of the whistling well, the buried catapults, or the man raising the dead with a parrot. Grab your best umbrella, salvation's in the air. So are fish. Whispers Behind the Mirror

When Elena Ward accepts a live-in position at the isolated Blackthorn Estate, she believes she’s escaping her past. Instead, she steps into a house that watches, listens, and remembers. Its owner, Victor Hale, is a man of contradictions—controlled and reserved in daylight, unsettlingly intense after dark. His presence is magnetic, his silence heavier than words. As Elena grows closer to him, the estate begins to reveal its true nature: hidden corridors, forbidden rooms, and reflections that don’t always mirror reality. Whispers echo through the walls. Doors lock on their own. And the line between desire and danger slowly dissolves. As Elena’s sense of self begins to fracture, she must uncover the truth behind Victor’s carefully constructed mask—and the house that seems determined to keep her—before obsession turns into something far more deadly. Some secrets are not meant to be seen. Some mirrors should never be unlocked. Read more
