Phil Savage has worked in sports journalism and publishing for almost two decades. He has covered corruption, match fixing, illegal gambling and doping as well the many positive aspects of sport. Many of the stories he has come across could never be reported but they have been reimagined and worked into his fiction writing. None of the events in his novels are actually true – but all have happened at different times and with different people.
