Torie Raben

Hello! Torie Raben was born in Oregon, spent most of her childhood in Northern Virginia and now lives in Los Angeles. Having attained an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in International Management (MIM), Torie started working for an import/export company. During her time with that company she lived and worked in London and Hong Kong, and traveled regularly to places like China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Today, she is involved in multiple foundations that help women advance through education, while supporting and motivating them throughout their journey. Torie is a fan of reading, with suspense, mystery thrillers being among her favorites. She loves watching action movies but is equally at home with the Hallmark channel. Her other great passion is for travel and she has already visited every state in the US, except Alaska. She loves exploring the country’s national parks, having visited 26 of the 61 so far and has also chalked up 21 foreign countries too. The future is still in motion for Torie. She wants to release more books in her Pocketbook PI series in due course, see those parts of the world that she hasn’t made it to yet, and spend more quality time with her extended family.
