Introduction
Lena Hart, a young adult, cautious, responsible, careful and always around, heads home on a very cold night, from her job helping out at the Willow Creek Diner.
It's around midnight when her mother calls and, said she'd be late getting home and to be sure to lock the door when she gets in.
Lena usually walks home alone from the diner every night and has never had a problem, but even though the rain left the air fresh smelling and calm, she is a bit on edge and takes a quick look behind her.
It is still quiet with no one on the road, so she calms herself down and keeps walking. After several minutes and getting close to the safety of home, she thinks she hears a low rumble getting close. A car with tinted windows was thankfully moving past her without a word or slowing down. She recognized it as a Honda. It was painted a sparkly silver. She thought it must be a custom color.
After a while, she is almost home. She hears the same engine rumble far behind her. She couldn't see it yet, but her palms start to sweat, her throat starts to tighten up and fear starts her looking for a place to disappear into.
What does he want? Am I just being paranoid? He's coming—He's close!
